OK well there's moog and then there's Moog. This album is a cracker. the number of instrumentation changes and the amazing variety of sound Andrew Kazdin and Thomas Shepard coax out of their moog is quite phenomenal. Up to 20 layers of synthesised aound are used to recreate these favourites from the Romantic era.
Another 50c viynl; this one was in amazingly good condition and needed only the lightest of restoration work.
01 - Espana
02 - Malaguena
03 - Prelude To Act 1 From Carmen
04 - Bolero

Hmm - well thxjay, the pun is mightier than the sword....
Thanks for posting this! My Dad bought this album when I was four; I would hide whenever he played it because I was convinced the stereo was about to explode.
Indeed, this was the first LP I played on my new Rega P3 turntable, and the sound did indeed seem to jump right out of the speakers.
Most gratifying...
I used to have this record, too! Back in college days, it was great for lounging in the living room with the housemates...
this is great thanks!
Genial!!! Mi hijo adora el tema "Carmen". Ahora lo escucharemos completo. Muchas gracias!
